I tent all the time. As far as i'm concerned its the only way to go,but my wife won't go. My little buddy likes to go. i'm teaching him young. so hopefully he will appreciate when he gets older.

Both those parks are nice. I might need to make a fishing trip to Mayaka state park soon.
Some people are like Slinkies ... not really good for anything, but you can't help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs.

our camping trip the weekend before christmas was great. the weather was awesome, a bit cold at times, but awesome. had a great fire to keep us warm in the evenings. saw a TON of game. as soon as we entered the park we saw turkeys, then hogs, then deer, more hogs, and more deer. my 4 yr old son saw a lot of pigs and we saw a really nice 8 point cross the road right in front of us. it got down in to the 30's the last night we were there but we were ready for the cold. we took the kids on trails and they had a blast. cant wait til next time. we will probably go camping again in january or february while its still nice and cool. have not picked a spot yet for that.
