She still will not go offshore with me. The airboat she can handle.

good fish there,my wifes first fish was a cat as well sailcat but a cat fishing was almost our first date :fish

Dude nothing is better then going out fishing with your wife.. WHen i was married i used to cherish those moments cause they were far and few!

I can't even think of going fishing without inviting the wife. I like the fact she loves to be on the water, but let me tell you. If you hook into something and don't get it in the boat, you are going to get an earful from this women. No one is immune either, family or friend, you will hear it.

Just like playing cards, never sit down with a 1st time player, they always win. I am gald you had a good time. Perhaps try some inshore saltwater, let her hook into something with a little more fight to it, perhaps then she will try the offshore trip.

The closest I can get my wife to fishing is a seafood dinner at a waterfront restaurant

my first date with the wife I took her where I went fly fishing for trout, real pretty. after catching one I said you do ultrasound study's of the heart right? she says yes and I say hold out your hand, I clean the fish real quick and put the heart in her palm still beating. romantic huh? she didn't even flinch.

SHE SCARED OF THE OCEAN.
She is scared of alligators and sharks. Me I jump in and swim with them.
