Hi all, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm 17, homeschooled and, unlike most people my age, prefer a rod or a gun to a game controller. I love fishing, particularly for bass but I'll fish for anything, anywhere. I'm really wanting to get more into hunting, I've had limited experience, but I hope to take my first official game animal before the year's out. Hope ya'll won't mind answering my questions, I've got lots .

Welcome to the Forum! There's a LOT of great info on here given by a lot of good people. Ask a lot of questions and pay attention and you'll learn a lot! I'm still learning and I've been hunting & fishing for most of my 50+ years!

You'll get along great here! These are good folks! Heck, they even accepted this transplanted Bostonian! I applaud you for your attitude and desire to avoid being a couch potato!

That would be awesome! I will definitely see about that. I have a neighbor that used to do that, but now he's married and has a kid so he doesn't do it much anymore...
