Be here at 6AM. Just gonna go bass fishin for a couple hours before it gets too hot. No problem, sounds good, will be there and will call u if there is any change.
Now 6:30. Boat hooked up. No show. Won't answer phone or texts.
I swear I don't know what is wrong with people anymore. What sucks even more is I got an invite to go saltwater fishing today, but didn't see the message till I got up this morning. Or I woulda had my azz down there

Sounds to me like you need to find ya a new fishing buddy. Looks like your buddy has the best of both worlds, goes fishing when "He wants" and doesn't have to own his own boat. As many people people that like to fish I wouldn't think it would be hard to find a replacement. Just don't look for the replacement the morning of go a couple of times without him and maybe he'll come around.

I did that with my ex-brother-in-law. I call him the nite before leaving on a hunting TRIP, I bought all the food, water etc. He tells me has decided he wasn't going. I find out later he wasn't going cuz his son-in-law did not want to go. I didn't even invite that creep. And we been to Idaho, Montana, and New Mexico together. I have never and will never extend an invite to him again.

Dang you need a new fishing partner. My buddies are the complete opposite. I can't get them to leave me alone! They always ask me to go fish and almost get jealous when I take one and the others find out. Only reason I can't go out a lot is money. Thinking about saving for some kayaks as a cheap way to get out and fish.
