any spearfisherman in the house

Anybody dive? I grew up spearfishing when i lived in the keys and have not been in several months. i know the water is cold but my skin i getting dry and i want to get out there, i have a buddy that i grew up diving with so we could split expenses among several people. i even have a little extra gear i any of you fisherman want to see what your spots look like.

My boat is way to small for a trip out of the bay but there are other areas that can be hit. There is a area off Sarasota called point of rocks. It's right off the beach but only gets about 15 to 20 foot deep. That's an area I used to snorkle. I think it is far enough away from the public beach that you could spearfish

I spear in the bay right now,just got my 5mm wetsuit,I shoot a 32" AB biller and am probably bumping up to a 52" Rhino for gulf dives.

What part of the Keys did you live in? I was born & raised there.

nitrox diver here, been about 2 years though. Love to spearfish also. I have my own dive equipment but it needs to be serviced.
