I participated in this survey last year (as I imagine others on here probably did) and they emailed me an update.

I know for a fact there are even more as I am regularly seeing more and more in places I haven't been seeing them regularly before. Me and my boys found 3 new ones in my squirrel woods the other day. It's a great feeling seeing these animals making a comeback. Hopefully, it'll continue! Maybe one day I can once again legally enjoy the taste of a good ol' Florida Fox Squirrel like I used to as a kid!!
