Buck of the year!
To bad that I didn't shot him.
Oh my gosh! Now this is just a hear say from a relieable sourse. This buck was killed opening weekend in Alaucha county And have heard of the guy that shot him (not pictured) but is a good hunter. They will be crazy if they don't regerister him.

That's a fine one there! Ain't much on judging or scoring but he gets a thumbs up anywhere in Florida. Treefarmer

Alachua always produces good bucks. Been trying to find a lease in that area for years now.

I am almost positive I saw that guy at a quota hunt last year skinning a buck. If its not him, it was his twin brother

Re: Buck of the year!
Just showed it to a guy a work and he knew the buck and the hunter who is not pictured, they are in the same lease. It scored a 128 3/4 and isn't the biggest buck that the hunter has taken...

Re: Buck of the year!
That for sure is a nice one. Couple of years back when I first started looking at/for leases I found one in that area. Said it was trophy managed and had been for 10-12 yrs. Had a really nice lodge on site. You were allowed 1 Buck and 1 Gobbler per year. Buck had to be so and so big to be able to harvest. Cost of year membership was $10,000.00. Seriously. Not saying that is where this deer came from, as I have no way of knowing, but I never forgot seeing that ad.
