hey john, you ever fish down near sanibel/captiva? im goin down there late august and hope to get in some fishing.

Yes but not a bunch. Only night snook fishing by the bridges. Which is excellent!!!! Other then that I don't know much about that area.

ill be fishing day and night, hopefully ill have my boat motor by then too. if not, ill manage.

All the bridges and docks by Punta Rassa are excellent at night time for snook. There is a little boat ramp there by the bridge. Very fast currents and docks that are all lit up just north or the bridge behind the resort. Put a hurting on them at night!!!! Good luck "tup"

If you have a boat I recommend fishing the fallen trees near Silver Key / Bowmans Beach.....the snook stack up in there....early morning is the best, make sure the tide is moving.

dont know where that is, if my boat is operational by then, i will get charts of the area and check it out. first time down there.
