Blue Crabbing in Bradenton?

Post by Glowworm » Mon Jun 16, 2014 1:45 pm

Is there a good place to blue crab from shore or bridge for blue crabs? I don't have a boat , so I would be stuck to fishing from a pier/bridge or some other fixed structure.

I got about 5 of them triangle traps which close as you pull the line in, any advise for them would be nice too

THanks

The road out to Emerson Point is a great spot....past the gate there are numerous places for bay or river access. Only issue is dawn to dusk access only. Great wade fishing though on both sides.
