Canned Mullet recipes ?

Post by born2hunt » Thu Jul 03, 2014 6:06 pm

Did a little fishing today and caught a few small trout and a nice snook. Before I left I threw the net a few times and caught 15-20 mullet. I smoked a mess last weekend and may do some more but I want to try and can a few. Ive never done it before and wondered if anyone has a good recipe to try .

If it were me I'd smoke them, then vacuum seal.

Oh Im smoking most of them. I love it smoked and just finished the last one from last weekend , just thinking something different. Thought it may be some good camp food for hunting season.
