Xpress "H" series boats

Post by blackpowderscout » Tue Apr 02, 2019 3:02 pm

Anybody on here run any Xpress "H" series bay boats or have friends that do? Specifically the 20' and 22' but 18' as well. I'm curious about them. Generally solid reviews on the interwebs. Just looking for more Florida oriented reviews. Think momma is gonna let me get a new boat....

Bayport to Keaton Beach and Flagler Beach to Cumberland Island area will be where I would run. Inshore for the usual suspects. I'm mainly looking for long term fit and finish issues, warranty issues, general complaints or things you'd like to have changed, etc.

I know it ain't a damn ***INSERT FANCY $50,000+++ BOAT NAME HERE**** but it and several others in it's class offer a lot for the $$$. And I'm poor. So I want the best bang for the buck.

I don't know anyone that owns one but after looking at the prices new, have you considered a slightly used Sportman's model bay boat? I have been hearing good things about them over the last couple of year by people who fish here in CFL and regularly hit the inshore on both coasts.

I have not considered it mainly because I want new or nothing this go round. I'm over being annoyed and dissatisfied at the results of other people's good ideas or misuse on boats I've bought used.
