November would be your better time for flounder I seem to slam them in the colder months. As far as the shrimping I do the majority of it during the summer months. But if the right weather patterns happen shrimping can be awesome in November. But the flounder you catch out there are sometimes doormat size if you can get a hold of mud minnows you'll do good.
