Back from Maine

Went to Maine Sept 1-8 and rode out a couple days of storms then high winds, finally when they wind let up two Black Bears wandered a little close. Passed up a so so shot out of respect for the first bear and wasn't so nice to the second, dropping him on the spot. Went in hopes of taking a nice bear for a full body mount to put by my door, want him holding a bowl to put our keys in. Was fortunate enough that the second bear was about 165# and 4 1/2' long making the right size for a standing mount, could have held out for bigger as 400# plus bears were seen but not what we were looking for.
