Sorry man. I just don't believe deer naturally get the large in the true wild. These guys are pumped full of hi-pro feed from the time they are born and watched for 5 yrs until they are woth the 20,000 to shoot them.

exclusively ‘non-manipulated nor transported’ native genetics. Marko went on to say that the deer was a “100% native pasture deer that had not been manipulated in any way. Rain, protein, feed and patience...With 4000+ High Fenced protein fed acres, the Las Raices is able to provide excellent quality fair chase hunts .

Well shoot a little disappointing, I think I would feel differently if it was like 20-30,000 acres, this is more like a pasture in Texas instead of fair chase.

4,000 acres is a lot of land and I'm sure the the deer are somewhat wild. But they are farmed just like cattle. They prolly imported some high dollar bucks and turned them loose to breed the native does.Same as puting a high dollar bull in a pasture. I'm curious if it will be allowed in B/C or P/Y or even the Texas registry.

the guy charged, Gary Morgan Schwarz, 57, owner of Valley Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in McAllen...not Morris of Tecomate. Morris once said they spend over 50K a year for food plots alone...I believe they are free range there.

Hunting inside a fence isn't hunting to me. I want to go on public land and get a nice buck. I will not buy a dear.

non-native browse/feed ( protien pellets, corn, whatever ) = scientific manipulation imo. + a fenced area? + I'm sure an expensive genetic stud was released into that enclosure at some time. they never said how much it would cost to shoot something like that did they? all about the $'s IMO.

That is no game animal. That is livestock, nothing more and nothing less. This type of garbage will do more to damage the sport of hunting than anyother single thing. When the success of the hunt is based solely on the size of the bone on top of a buck's head then we have lost touch with what makes the sport of hunting so special.
