Need a recommendation please

I have a Black Bear I'm looking to do a full body mount on and would prefer a semi local taxidermist, my guy is in Illinois but that's a long ride with a full standing bear home. Anyone know a quality taxidermist here in Florida experienced in bears as quality is key as this is for my memory of the hunt.

Why don't you check with Dave T, here on the FOHAF forum, being he is into taxidermy work? If he's not into bears maybe he could give you the advice you are looking for.

Dave and I have discussed it and deer are his specialty, not sure where to go locally but always can drop off next week when I hunt Illinois.

Jason Clark...813-625-4755.. This guy is located in Lithia area which is kinda east of Brandon. He does anything from rabbits to rhinos and last time I picked up a deer, he had two standing bear mounts in the shop that looked great just like all his work. Just an option..
