" would probably have let her walk as she had been around for several years." Nope, I also would have dusted her a$$. deer is a deer and food on my table. also its one of them things you would never have a chance at again, like a 12" triple bearded turkey

Re: Albino deer
Finally!!!!!! there hasn't been a day go by that I haven't looked for this deer and finally got a halfway descent picture. Now i'll just keep looking for more. this has been like hunting a good buck that you have scouted and worked hard for.

Re: Albino deer
awsome job getting the pic. IMHO I dont think it is albino. no pink nose or eyes. white deer no pigment or its a piebold with very little brown markings. awsome though and just as rare id say. looks like you have a great place to start next season. Id like to see a side profile of head, mite not be a doe

Re: Albino deer
Picture is not quite clear enough for me to see if it has pedicels. It certainly shows the brown on its' face and ears, just like the one that was killed here in Washington County this past season. Not an albino but a mostly white deer. Keep your camera handy Bossman , you'll probably get a few more pictures! Next time might even show some antler growth. Thanks for showing these pictures, something like this is always great to see. Treefarmer
Re: Albino deer
My guess is doe, and I think I've seen the same deer. There are a couple in that area. The first one I saw had both ears brown and a big patch on it's butt, the rest was white. Jay thought it was a great dane, we stopped and confirmed it was a young doe.

Re: Albino deer
That's very cool. Awesome pictures.
"The Native Americans believed the occurrence of a white animal was a huge sign of prophecy – a sign from the great spirit that a major shift in their world was to come." Got that off the internet.
Makes since though because it looks like a "change" is a comin' but I "hope" I'm gone before it gets here!

Re: Albino deer
I saw her the two days ago in the corner of a field at about 15 yards but just as soon as she saw me she was out of there and I didn't have my camera.

Re: Albino deer
Thought that I'd dig up this old thread to add to the sighting. I got called into work this morning and on the way home seen this ole buck. I saw him a couple of times last year but never go any pictures. This morning he has surfaced again and looks to be a small 6 point.
