I just read where plum creek sold 98,000 acres in central western fl. Around chiefland / inglis. Wonder what that means for the hunting clubs

Does anyone know if its all the Plum Creek owned land in Levy county? This could be bad for several hunters.

Just talked to someone who said this is not the first time Hancock bought land from plum creek. It was more of a paper transaction for tax purposes. I guess we will wait and see.

Gulf Hammock was included in this sale. I've checked out the Hancock website and they appear to be hunter "friendly".
