Turkey Hunting In General

Post by hawkenman » Wed Jul 18, 2018 1:26 pm

Last season I got my annual turkey but I had to really work for it. I hunt near Cedar Key FL, and prior to the season all that my game camera got was hens. I'm talking about 20 to 25 in a flock. Years ago you could kill one hen per regular gun season I think that this should be reestablished. It's like too meany doe,s per buck but FWC has put this on the back burner.

It's all about trying to build that Osceola flock up to a sizeable flock... So FWC thinks. I'm Levy county also and know what you're talking about.
