new Penn reel

Went to duck's today only because the wife wanted to buy some sport clothes that were on sale. I was looking for a new medium duty spinner for saltwater. There was a display of these Penn BTL series reels starting at $119.00. They did not have the 6000 series in the box but the guy found a 7000 series in the box. The specs checked out good so I said ok. Expecting to pay $129.00 or so he told me the reel cost $25.00. I didn't believe him-thought he was kidding around. I went straight to the register and paid. Sure enough-$25.00. I went back to get another one for my buddy-no more. I checked EBay and they are going for 90-129.00 dollars. I guess it was a left over model or something but what a find. Checked duck's online looking for another and there are none. Xmas in Feb.

I got a similar deal the year Dickk's opened. I got a $300 baitcaster for like $30 clearance price

Speaking of deals. Walmart at 54 and 75 has all of their other ML stuff was on clearance.They aslo have a few CVA Wolf ML's marked on clearance for $124. I picked one up and there were 3 left on the shelf.
Not as good a clearance price as you guys found, but cheapest I've seen online was around $150

It just opened up a few months ago. I was surprised the clearance they had, but they had some pretty good stuff.
