Pretty sad everything in the hunting industry is becoming a conglomerate(s). I saw Muzzy was bought out by someone too

yep they will all be bought up, manufacturing sent to china if not already there, then places like wally world, bass pro, dicks, cabelas, gander mtn, can charge us 4 - 6 times the price it costs to make it.

Depending on the product, retail price thats 4-6 times the manufacturing cost may not keep the business floating.
I've worked in a field where the retail price of our item was about 15 times the manufacturing cost but when that went down to 12 times the cost we had to get out of that field as we were loosing money. Transportation cost, product testing, liability insurance, marketing, interest on loans, various overheads, etc. all add up real quick.
