Well this morning I decided to try the spot and stalk method so far I've had 8 doe's anywhere from 5 yards to 70 yards. If I had known she was going to get so close I would have gotten some pictures. Although I did have one up close photo moment. Thank god for the cooler weather... DRT

OMG Same thing here NOTHING I would have never thought. But there is hope for the future, On the way back to camp I came up on a huge Barr hog on the way back to camp. I see several evenings climbing a tree near by the sighting...

I saw a doe, a turkey, and a LOT of squirrels. I know where I'm going in a couple months.

Has anyone ever seen (or even know if it's possible for it to happen) a Hybrid Fox-Gray Squirrel? I saw two gray squirrel sized ones but with black heads like are common with Fox Squirrels. They acted like Grays and were very active in the trees but had a slightly longer tail and were more "lethargic" than a normal gray. I thought it was odd.

Well back at the same ole stand that I've hunted the last 2 evenings. Already saw a small spike and a small six point this morning and the only reason that I have the therma cell on is to catch a little warmth... And ran off a big hog before daylight.
