LOWRANCE ELITE 5 DSI SONAR WITH GPS

I am looking at the above unit for my bass boat. The last unit I used was a life time ago...Humminbird Super 60 portable.

I realize times and technology have changed. So I'm trying to get some feed back on how user friendly this unit is.

Bear in mind, I'm a speed bump on the information technology super highway.

My fishing will be pretty much limited to shallow water lakes in north Florida...Gainesville, Lake City, Tallahassee, Palatka, Jacksonville.
