Weight guess?

Post by buddy201 » Fri Feb 21, 2014 11:13 am

I normally fish inshore on the kayak, but I had to sell the truck (does it get much worse), and then sold the 'yak. I am paranoid about strapping things on top of my small car for liability reasons. Anyways, I just picked up bass fishing and have been hitting up the golf courses in Sarasota. I have been ripping in 2-3 lb'ers with some frequency, and pull in one this size about every 2nd or 3rd outing. I'm guessing this guy was 7-9lbs. I don't carry a weigher with me, I just jam some hooks and bullet weights in a bag of plastics, grab my pliers, and walk the banks. What do you think it weighs? Anyone in Sarasota have any golf course stories?
