Little Manatee River catfishing trip
Don't remember the last time I went catfishing before today, so decided to take a kayak trip to the Little Manatee River. Headed upstream from the park to US301 and set 10 bush lines. Lots of people canoeing but still manage a few takers and a nice keeper.

Oh man, I miss that. Me my dad and brother used to camp just about every weekend on the Ochlockonee or Little rivers up in the Panhandle when I was growing up. We'd only take some taters, oil and cokes (beer for dad), and stuff for breakfast like eggs and slab bacon with us. The rest of the meals had to be caught. We'd set out bush hooks and trout lines all the way into where we were going to camp and go back and check them around dinner time. We ALWAYS had a haul of catfish and one time caught a great big 'ol alligator snapper. He was tasty too :>)
Good times there Mr. LoLo
