Unless I happen to be in a plane that goes down in some extremely remote location, I make damn sure I'm prepared for the worst when going somewhere on purpose. 99.9999% of the people who die from exposure and such did something stupid to be in that situation in the first place. Folks trying to go 40 miles out in the Gulf in an 18 foot flats boat, with no float plan, or those who take out into Death Valley or some other desert with a bottle of Aquafina and some sunscreen, well, sorry, that's where Darwin got it right. Those folks deserve to be removed from the gene pool, cause they ain't got the swimming skills!

Its known as a "liquid Enema" This can also be done with water that you are not sure of being clean or free of parasites. Is totally bypasses the stomach and your very less likely to get sick.

Now Speaking in all seriousness. I Saw that bear grills say that.. And in a personal experience when i was in the hospital I was not to take ANYTHING by mouth for the first 4 days. Whenever i had to get a pill that was not in a needle form i had it given to me rectally. This is in all seriousness.

i watch both of them but man vs. wild just does some cooler stuff. les takes less chances. which is what you should do, but watching grylls is like watching a nascar race. Waiting to see hit hit the wall at 100 mph.
