Re: Lost hunter in the cypress
I am thinking. I'm thinking you should never go to the glades with out a compass or a gps. And you should know whats around you, like roads, trails, exct. I'm also thinking you should have your meds with you just in case. Little things like that can save your life. He's lucky people knew were he was and he didn't head out on his own.

He admitted that he could here 75 the whole time. Sounds kinda sketch why he was lost for that long

Re: Lost hunter in the cypress
maybe hes related to balloon boy. some of the pieces dont add up, especially if he could hear the interstate. i wonder if his friends and family were just sayin he was a great outdoorsman to talk him up or whatever. i agree with john, why go to the glades unprepared?

Re: Lost hunter in the cypress
Thats what i started to kinda think once I found out where he was lost. I mean they kept saying he was 3/4-1 mile away from 75 the whole time. Almost like he didnt want to go too far into the woods. And since his tracks and everything were kinda scattered and everything maybe he was avoiding the searcher parties. If he was just doing this all for publicity then they should lock him for wasting everyones time like that. Shutting the down interstate multiple times? Come on now
Re: Lost hunter in the cypress
Interesting theory, leaving clues like his thermacell and stuff lying around. Wasn't he also a male model?HArd to say WTF happened, some people will do anything to be on tv.

Re: Lost hunter in the cypress
hahahaahhaha i thought the exact same thing when i saw it. And whats the deal with this panther stalking him for a few hours???? I doubt a panther would be stalking a human. And why would he be getting stuck in mud? And how can he start a fire with a diamond earring??Cr0ck1 wrote:All i have to say about his story and his video is WHY IN THE HELL DOES HE HAVE A "TRAMP STAMP" ON HIS BACK" WTF????

Re: Lost hunter in the cypress
This kid should quit talking. Your compas was broke (you didn't look at it before putting it in your gear?) and flashlight got wet and didn't work? Sketchy... I can see losing the boots in mud, but if you are up to your neck (so he says) in detritus mud, you are not getting out alone. A sandboil (quicksand) does not allow for enough suction in which to lose your whole hunting getup...
Only he knows the truth, but it is starting to sound pretty shaky! Sad because I was really pulling for him.
