Go over to Spook Hill near Lake Wales and watch your car roll uphill!

Talked to Brother Billy on phone yesterday, he says cemetery in Umatilla has issues. Says there is a sign in back of cemetery stating something like.........Don't go back here, there is some evil things there. Not verbatim, but I will be looking into!

For me, too.

There's a book called weird Florida it has like 30pages dedicated to haunted and scary things all across Florida. It's really cool like some place In south fl that they used to hang people out in the woods the weird thing is there was a treestand on the way in there. There was a lot of deer sign in there to best of both worlds see something weird and scary and drop a buck in the process.

In polk county there are a lot of scattered around small cemeteries. family cemetaries, black cemetaries. some of them are on old phosphate property, but they have to allow public access to the property. there is one in homeland, where people have been murdered, and the graves have been vandalized. may be some good activity there. also my girls was at greenswamp with me and wanted me to drop her off at the stewart homestead where her camera went haywire while she was taking pics...camera has never been the same since.
OUT OF MY COLD DEAD HANDS
Re: Any haunted places to go check out?
I never believed in ghosts.....until i moved in the house i live in now.
I have a ghost in the house that I've seen over 2 dozen times in 12 years. The last time i saw her was about 2 years ago.
The story ... the man i purchased the house from, his 2nd wife died in the one of the back bed rooms.
Most every time I've seen her, i'm sitting on the back porch and can see into the family room when she walks through the room. She is walking to the back bed rooms at a normal pace. She is wearing a long night gown with a collar at the neck, she has short but full hair, and she never stops or looks around. She looks like a person looks in a black and white movie, yet everything else in the room has color.
The first time i saw her i thought a stranger walked into my house. I went into the back rooms looking for her, but she was nowhere to be found. She has never scared me, or freaked me out. My wife has even seen her. Over the years as we have changed the house and renovated the back rooms we have seen less and less of "Her".
