Big barr

Post by Iluv2hunt » Tue Sep 24, 2013 8:47 am

Had this big ole nutless dude show up. Before the peanut gallery tells me the time is wrong, I know. The LCD doesn't work and I can't set anything. It's a camera I brought out of retirement.
I definitely want to put a bullet thru his neck

So, this is my 4th year hunting this particular spot, and 4th year of getting pics of this hog. I have never had a daytime pic of this ole boy. Pics are ALWAYS between 10pm and 4am. There is never any pattern to where he may or may not show up. I don't have cams on feeders right now, but he will show up randomly at feeders and never same feeder 2 nights in a row. This old hog is as smart as a big mature buck. I did see this hog 3 years ago. I had a herd under my feeder opening day of muzzleloader. It was still too dark to shoot and he came charging in, and ran every hog off. He looked like a sherman tank. He knew something wasn't right and left immediately after. He had another massive boar running with him the last 3 years, but has since disappeared. Maybe one day he will slip up. Maybe
These 2 pics were the same night, 30 minutes apart, and about 400 yards distance

have you tried setting the feeders to go off 30 mins before dark. Works for me... like ringing the dinner bell.
