Very nice bellyacher! Keep lookin'!
Haven't found a point in a while. The last one came from the back yard of the church fellowship hall. It's located on a lake and there where a wash had occurred was a nice point when I opened the car door.

The patterns on the pottery shards are interesting. I knew a feller that keyed on pottery shards just for the reason so many were different patterns. I hadn't paid much attention to them other than just seeing a design, there are several different styles as he pointed out to me years ago.

Look for a natural body of good water. mainly on north and south sides and on a high area. Look at waters edge and any place there is no vegatation. Look for right angles and straight lines. Things that nature dont make

Illegal to remove an artifact unless its private property and doubly so do dig a place up. If a person digs in a mound they should be put under it.
