Not sure why they made the application period a month long. Haven't heard a good reason. Either you know what you want to pick or not. Should be no more than a couple days long, maybe a week at most

With the exception of the actual hunt numbers and dates, I knew exactly which hunts I was going to apply for in 2010/11 immediately after I applied for them last year. I think that a 2 week application period for each phase is more than sufficient. Especially considering that the vast majority of the apps come in on the first few days.
