OREGON AND AUBURN

Post by JBUG308 » Mon Jan 10, 2011 3:11 pm

Ya know, I've heard a lot about Auburn and #2. Also Auburn has had to come from behind a few times this year. Oregon has some unbelievable speed, but the only good team (IMO) they played during the regular season was Stanford and it was a race to see who could make the last touchdown.
I have a feeling if Auburn gets behind tonight they may not be able to make it back, but I've been wrong before.
If Auburn's D can slow down those Ducks they'll open it up for the offense to score.
There again, it isn't a Florida team, so if no one cares, that's good too!

Hope the NC stays in the SEC. I just hate how long the layoff is for this game. It is almost 2 months since these kids played. There always seems to be a bit of rust.

This system is broke and they need to fix it

Oregon/Stanford was not anything resembling a race to the last touchdown. Stanford was up 21-0 early and got straight shut down for the rest of the game. Their offense didn't do anything after that point although they did get some points off turnovers later in the game. Meanwhile, the Duck offense woke up and ran wild all over the Stanford Defense.

For this game...who knows. Both teams are very, very good. Auburn will be able to move the ball well against the Ducks. Their defense isn't normally a shut-down defense as they give up yards and wait for the big play. I don't see Auburn shutting down the Duck offense however. It may turn into a track meet...here's hoping anyway!

Auburn just did a great goal-line stand, maintaining the 8 point lead, and moving the ball!

Gotta love a BCS National Championship Game where it comes down to the wire. That's how it's supposed to be!

Another year, and the BCS is still broken. Yes I, and everyone else thinks Auburn would kick the crap out of TCU, but they still should be given the chance.
Heck, look at Seattle, they are just beat the super bowl champs

Signed...bring on CFB playoffs
