I ended up getting a smaller LEM unit. I found a new one on e-bay for very reasonable price.
I'll be grinding my first batch of pork this week.

One tip I will give, is try to grind meat when it is 1/2-1/3 frozen. It is much easier to work with then, and you don't get any blood drippage

Bought one from lowes for around $100 it's stainless and has done 8-10 deer and a couple hogs.
I like animals, they are tasty!

I ground about 25 lb. of hog yesterday. The LEM grinder worked great. The gear sounds smooth but is a little loud. I cut the meat into small chunks about the size of my thumb and then put them in the freezer for about 30 minutes before grinding them. I did it in 3 batches of about 8 lb. each. I made couple of burgers for dinner and they were great.

Tonight I made a bag of bread crumb with leftover italian bread and french bread with the grinder. I'll be using it make meatloaf tomorrow.
