Other wise I pay a good butcher $40 plus $1 lb for anything made into sausage. Usually a $50-60 deal, cleaned, cut, seasoned and wrapped!

Iluv2hunt, you got that right!!! Thats why I put a motor on my #32 hand grinder with a pulley reduction to get it to run about 80 rpm's. Ain't the fanciest thing but it does work well and the investment is minimal. Treefarmer

No shart, but most on this forum don't have any $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, therefore hand grinder is the only option.

a strong right hand will git er done, or better, pay the butcher. I think most would buy another gun before a good electric grinder and a cheap one won't last and you would be back to hand grinding anyway. if you have enough guns (like that ever happens), AND kill lot's of game then maybe electric. kinda like buying a good safe or spotting scope. been meaning to for 20+ years but keep buying guns instead.

Well what allot of game?
I usually do harvest about 8-10 animal's between deer and hogs every season.
I have the grind to do from 4 of my deer did the last one just so i have some burger. Only one hog so far but i plan of fixing that this week end.
I go out looking for hogs this year and only find deer. Now i making ham and bacon so i need more hog for sausage.

If you do off fishing and need chum a good electric grinder works great. I can feed in whole 12 inch mullet and it spits out goo witch i freeze for offshore fishing. You can make buckets full fast.

I got the same one from Lowe's a couple of years ago for $75 after rebate and I use it every season. Great little grinder.

a pos hand grinder mounted to the transom or gunwale of a boat works well and just leave it there. it will corrode in salt water fairly quick but can be replaced at garage sales for a few bucks or less.

Yep, just happened on it really. I wasn't even shopping for it but I was walking through Lowes one day and saw it on sale. They also had a manufacturers rebate at the checkout. Great buy. It ain't often I have an extra $75 in my pocket but I had some giftcards from my birthday so it was in my cart. :rockon

Several places sell that exact same model. They just slap their own label on it. same with LEM products. The exact same models are sold at Northern Tool for 1/3 less

my grinder is very similar but attaches to a kitchen aide mixer. I don't use it much at all for game, as I don't shoot hardly any but for ANY kind of leftovers, grind it and make soup.
