Fittna be a chicken killin tomorrow. I got a few that can barely stand up they are so fat

I just used a little 4" filet knife. I don't hunt hogs with a 454 casull either :clown

I cleaned 6 of the 13. I was a tad disappointed in the size. I only weighed one live weight,....or dead weight and it was just over 7lbs. I thought they were bigger. The feathers definitely give you a false sense.
Gonna let the others go for another week and finish them off.

I gotta get them done soon because I am doing turkeys next. Already got some lined up to get. week old chicks (Heritage black spanish turkeys)

The remaining chickens are in the cooler. Definitely gotta build a plucking system before I do this again. I will weigh these out before I package them and get some totals. Picking up turkeys on Friday!
