yes how do defend against the military when Obama send them to take what he orders and shoot those who resist. Shoot guns wont do.

The context he used it is still what gets me. It was 'use a shotgun because you don't need an "assault rifle" '.

Trying to use a very legitimate argument (shotgun vs AR for home defense) to cover up and/or redirect your attention away from his illegitimate stance on the 2nd A and our right to arms (No AR's). What amazes me is the amount of people on the fence over the subject who might agree with this line of thinking. I find it insulting to say the least......

Biden was not talking about defending yourself against the gov't, but self defense from thieves/looters/breakins. obviously no small arm is gonna work against missles/bombs/artillery etc. but my thinking is how many that have taken the oath to defend the constitution, and protect the people would fire on us citizens. I think like in the civil war many would defect to our side and take much equiptment/tech/know how, with them.
