BIDEN'S STATEMENT ACTUALLY MAKE SENSE?

Post by nachogrande » Fri Jan 25, 2013 1:38 pm

I'm paraphrasing here, so don't get riled up if I misquote him. but could this be his best political statement ever? want to defend yourself?, get a shotgun! way to go JOE, did someone write that for you? not that he should be telling us what to use, but one of his first statements I didn't shake my head over. you in the wheelchair there, "stand up and take a bow", my personal fav. he generally made Gerald Ford look like Errol Flynn. if any of you still remember who they were.

I don't think people could successfully defend themselves from tyranny with shotguns though.

at under 50' getting hit with 1 oz of slug/buckshot, or in my case 2 oz of 3- 62 caliber 325 gr balls vs ? #'s of 40-70 gr's of a 22 caliber if any, projectile is a no brainer imo. esp if targets are close and moving fast and the operator may have little to no training or exp. even a black rifle is no match for a helicopter gunship or jet/tank. but my point was Biden actually spoke without putting his foot in his mouth as much as usual.

The context he used it is still what gets me. It was 'use a shotgun because you don't need an "assault rifle" '.

That's how I saw it anyways

As bad as this gun ban might be, console yourselves with the fact that we don't live in New Zealand.
Over there even the mean and domestic assault cats are being banned.

No. They aren't. A single whacko environmentalist has started a campaign, that's it.

not a cat lover here either.I got a butthole neighbor that will call 911 if my sprinklers come on an hour early or late the day after dst. but his cats roaming free using everyone elses yard as a litter box is ok. theres a black one pooping in my yard and teasing the snot out of my dogs that I want to paint a white stripe on, like a skunk. but that might be considered animal cruelty. I'd really rather deal with him but the wife says she won't bail me out anymore and it's time to grow up. God forbid.

Trap it and drop it in a trash can full of water while in the trap. Problem solved.

I couldn't/wouldn't do something like that to a defenseless animal. I can shoot a free roaming animal no problem but thats just wrong.
