Ruger American
Anyone have one or have any experience with them? Picking one up this week that I won in a raffle at an nra banquet, chambered in .308.

It was the friends of nra. Last minute decision that paid off.

The Ruger American is probably one of the top 3 economy rifles on the market today. All the big writers praised it. I had that exact same gun in my hands and thought of buying it

I've got one in 06. and I love it. Shoots hornady ammo in less than an inch at 100 and carries really nice. I like it better than a Rem 700.

Re: Ruger American
Thanks for the feedback. I got a message that I should be able to pick up tomorrow or Friday. Already have a box of Hornady ammo leftover from my last .308. Will be sure to let you know how it goes.
