Another great day...Bullridge Lake
I have been away for a while and just got my computer back which is the reason I have not posted any new threads or been on the forum. Sure did miss you guys.
Here is another day last week I was out with a couple friends and stayed at the ole guy's camp (old farmhouse). We had a great day on the lake fishing small brookies (speckled trout) as we caught up to 70 that day and kept our limit of 5 each . Great scenery and some good laughs. The fish were so tasty
We woke up the next morning and were greeted by some Canadian geese which was pretty cool

That reminds me of the days from Washington. Got to love trolling for trout.
Some people are like Slinkies ... not really good for anything, but you can't help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs.

Yeah, trolling for brookies is a ton of fun especially with light gear. Those little suckers sure put up a great fight.

they all have incredible eyesight are smart and aggressive. I was lucky to have lived close to a blue water trout stream, barbless fly only 3 fish limit over 12 " but they had trout over 10 lbs easily 3' long and big around as a football, plus a 3 lb tippet limit. a VERY well kept secret. never was able to land one over 5-6 lbs. had them straighten hooks, one jumped out of the stream onto the bank to wrap the line around a bush and break it off, caught a 12" rainbow when I saw the grass move along the bank a 5 lb brown grabbed it and I was able to net both. heard a story from an England aquarium that had a tank with a rainbow next to a tank with piranha, the rainbow jumped into and ate the piranha, so the story goes.
