I do not know what it is but I can not get one of my okra plants to grow taller than about 3'. Luckily I had 4 survive and can pick enough to atleast get a side dish once every couple of weeks.

my garden issued a "cease and destst order" on me. came home from Maine and all that survived were some watermelons. I am pulling it all up and going to da a replant. I think I am going to tier the garden, maybe easier to handle.

I royally screwed up. I cleaned the coop out and dumped all the shavings in the garden. Now I got timothy hay growing as high as my beans

Any ideas what kinda of bugs these are? There were abt 100 on my 3 eggplant plants and they ate abt 75% of all the leafs in a day or two.....They range from 1/2" to 1-1/4" I killed all of the ones i could find last night but i need to find how to keep any more away.

guess it's time for the fall planting. I've got a small cement curbalong (6' diam) with 5 open ended cement rings I've been using and 2 of those hanging topsy turveys. what will be good for them until the first frost? got didley squat from my bell peppers and enough hot peppers and herbs for life, plenty of cherry tomato's but the bugs/squirrels got my beefsteak maters.
