Opening weekend is here so what are you going to use?

Opening weekend is here for zone c and with the Possibility of killing a hog or a deer, what is going to be everyones weapon of choice? This day has been a long time in coming and I will be breaking out the 270 A Bolt. I told my dad this last week that I love my 270 and that it feels so well when I draw it up and fire. What does everyone else feel comfortable with?

Muzzleloader till Friday evening...May tote my 243 this weekend. Haven't shot one with that in a while

heavy brush with the 30-30 the last 2 weeks. Starting this weekend clear cuts carrying the AR in 6.8.

Savage axis .270 and depending where I wind up I just got a new to me Marlin 30/30 that i'm gonna be keeping in my truck. I only carry the .270 when I'm going hunting but I have had the chance to shoot a few hogs just checking cameras and filling feeders in the off season and there they are.

using my browning A bolt in 270. if I go for a walking hunt my winchester 30-30 will be in use.WMA hogs get the winchester sluger, private property hogs will be getting 223's from my AR

gonna go with 20 ga slugs and open sights on the wma this year. gotta see which shoot better, rem sluggers or winchester white box. tired of 3$ a shot 12 ga rifled sabots and the recoil.

Ridin' with my buddy on the 10th - I'll either be totin' the BLR81 in .243 or the Rem 870EXP loaded with 00 buck. All depends on what he's carrying - runnin' dogs of course. If I decide to hit the stand I'll have the same .243 or my BLR 30-06.

Well it is just a go to sleep and a wake up i've used the mossburg 870 3 1/2" with OO buck and have killed 3 bucks at 120 yards plus. I just got a feeling that the ole 270 ball will put the hurting on them in the morning. A Bolt baby!
