Yeah it sucked wearing waders every day of the season. Trust me. 20deg and waders don't mix.

I got the ST marks Wakulla hunt 1210 thru 12-12

I got picked- what's the drill? Hunt from a stand? Stalk around? Can you pattern Sambar or just put a stand in a swampy area? I heard they feed at night, what about daytime? How do you drag a 600 pound Sambar out of a swamp? :cowboy

No pieces from what I understand, on the net there are some 2008 photos, whole sambar hanging from the meat pole. Definitely need a helping hand on that one.

How would I find out how the hunt went? I decided I was not ready this year to go for it , but I am going to try next year.

Until now I had no knowledge of "Sambar Deer".

This year the quote entry time was may 4th to june 10th. Should be around the same in 2011. It's kinda grouped in with the spec. op hunts.
