i know it is early but who all is going. and was wondering if anybody wants to make plans and split ice and camp . and possible a scout day of the island?
rather meet som of you guys now then on the island

well went up to st vincients island this weekend with dreamnducks from another site to do some scouting for a december sambar hunt an all I can saw is wow. We took bikes to scout the island and after a short 10 mile ride we got to see the island in all it's glory. It was very interesting and different type of animal to hunt. I can not wait to get back there in december to get a sambar

That place is something else. I scouted the 1st time right after Thanksgiving and I was amazed at all the sign. I felt like I was landing on Jurassic Island. I've been wanting to do the Sambar hunt but the timing of the hunt just doesn't work for me. I spend the week of Thanksgiving at camp. We'll be there for the whitetail hunt in Jan. We're gonna stay in a cabin at Indian Pass this year. I just checked and there's 5 spots left for black powder and 145 left for archery if anyone wants in.
