in the first scenerio.. I have to ask... NO ONE HAD A CELL PHONE WITH A CAMERA??? Of course not.. If that thing was searching the sand for food there would be some great foot prints in the sand.. hard to believe they didn't go look nor have any type of camera on the boat

All good points but it might had freaked them the hell out. You cant get a good pic with cell phones from a distance they do well up close not at any distance. I didnt see where they looked for some sign they should have. Sugar sand dont leave much for footprints though.
Also just a thought my important stuff is allways stashed away in a water tight compartment somewhere when im on the water, not that I cant get to it but it usually takes a little bit.

How can there be a law against shooting something that there is no bonafide scientific evidence that it even exists?

Probably cant find it because it isn't a law. They tried years ago to pass a law protecting them in Florida but failed.

That article says exactly what I did, Florida looked at passing a law but didn't.

"They" were wrong. Other states have laws on the books regarding "Bigfoot's" and unicorns and waterhorses...but not Florida.
