Don't give up if you feel that strongly about it. Go up the chain of command. They will do their job if you push. Can't elaborate on how I know, but I know.... Don't you hunt with a FWC official?

They are likely working traffic details in construction zones for the state, to generate more annual revenue for FWC from FHP. These guys spend little time conducting conservation law enforcement, most of there time is spent as additional state LE bodies they can use for all the things the county sherif departments and local police won't or are reluctant to do for the state. FWC enforcement division is a joke, but what do you expect with an entry salary in the $30k range, the answer is, not much.

File the report. even if it does nothing now, in the future if he's caught, it MAY be seen as having previous complaints or indicate a pattern and history of poaching.

Not surprising to me, they are way too busy hassling honest folk to go after the legitimate cases.

I have yet to see the GW that works my area. I saw him at least 15 times last season on the hwy at least. There is a big creek that crosses the hwy where I turn in and lots of people fish. Lat year, there all the time. This year, not once.

I have not seen one all year......and I've been at the lease and on the roads probably 12+ weekends since August.

He has probably been on the cross town road and bridge I-4 connect project in Tampa, instead of the woods and his "assigned" area.

Tell them you think they're shooting bears that have been baited in with manatee meat. See what kind of response you get.
