Re: gays allowed in the military
Just to add a little note to this string. I believe Nacho said that it was the young guys that will have to deal with this and he is somewhat right. Army studies are showing a 20% loss by junior members just due to this being repealed. Not to mention the retirement letters that will be flying from t...

Re: Shotgun help
I want to get this gun because it easily changes from 24" to 28" with a screw in barrel extender. I have a 20 ga TriStar G2 that I have put over 500 rounds through with no issues. They are Beretta knockoffs made in Turkey and are high quality with an affordable price. http://www.budsgunshop.com/cata...

Re: Shotgun help
The shorter barrels are easier to manuever in the woods with. When duck/goose hunting the added length helps with continuing your swing on the birds and longer sight plane aids in hitting higher flying targets.

Re: Shotgun help
If one gun is the choice 12 ga with screw in chokes is the way to go. It is more versatile. I never had a need to go to 3.5" shells even when duck/goose hunting I use 3" for a better pattern. 24" barrel for hogs, upland birds, skeet, & dove. You can buy a 26" or 28" barrel for added length if you ge...

Re: wing shooters LOOK!!!
I can't wait to get on some quail in GA this year. They say it's the best hatching in 40 years there. I found this place close to my house.

Re: wing shooters LOOK!!!
I had 2 friends hunt at Gary's place on the Oct 9th and they didn't see any birds. Probably haven't been pushed hard from the north yet. Gary gave them a free return pass since there were no birds to shoot. I hunted Kate Boulos' place on Oct 2nd and we had a great shoot but those were probably the l...

Re: Dove Hunts in FL
I'm waiting on Kate to call to see if she has a shoot tomorrow or next weekend. I just got a champion Easy Hit sight for my shotgun. I went to GA last weekend and my dove hit percentage went up to almost 100%. It solved my cross dominance with my left eye and shooting right handed.

Re: Dove Hunts in FL
Thanks Drgn4sr for posting that info on page 2 of this thread. I hunted at Kate Boulos place on Saturday and maxed out on dove. There were about 18 hunters and we randomly drew for stands. Honestly I don't think there was a bad stand and the guides told you where to expect the birds to come from at ...

Has anybody seen quail at Croom WMA? A general area of the sighting would be nice. I have a 1 yr old Llewellin setter that needs to get some bird time. Thanks.

Re: computer help
Is it saying that any files are missing ,corrupted, or unable to boot before going to blue screen? I had a co-worker that had a similar problem with his laptop. I tried to repair the broken file to no avail (googled the error message file). It turned out that his hard drive was toast and needed to b...
