unable to post picture anymore, need some advice

With pictures from game camera and digital camera, I load them in my computer. They then are viewed and we delete those that are not worth while. In order to post a picture I resize them, using the "paint" function on my PC. They are 640x480. Everything worked before but now I get a message the says: "Error It was not possible to determine the dimension of the image. Please verify that the U.R.L. you entered is correct."
Here's the kicker, I participate on 2 other forums and use the same resized photos and there are no problems posting on either site. It all worked good not too long ago.
Where did I screw up?
As y'all can probably tell, I'm totally at a loss when it comes to computers

Any help that I can understand would be appreciated.

I feel the pain treefarmer... I haven't been able to post pics for a while, I've tried Co0cks advice with no luck and will follow this thread for an answer.

This is the only way I figured out how to do it post a picture then go back to your post and click edit then put the cursor below your signature then upload the new picture below your signature and then it will show

So I can post an attachment via my phone (thru tapatalk), but cannot upload a picture thru the computer via the attachment uploader

Why not just use photobucket? It works on pretty much 99% of websites and you have all your pics backed up so when you drop your phone in the water you dont lose all your pics or when you harddrive crashes on your computer you still have the pics you loaded safe online. With photobucket you get 10gb for free and for most people that is more than enough for the amount that they share on the web. it also has photo editing software that you get to use for free build right into the web site and app for your phone.

I don't do the Tapatalk deal so that won't help me out. Tried a resized photo from one of the many free offerings, still got the same message about not being able to determine the size of the picture. Still waitin' on one of them bright dudes to come by that cut their teeth on a computer.
Oh yeah, Bossman the summer sausages look good! I'm draggin' around but need to do a batch, always something more important comes up. I guess if I thaw out the venison and pork, that project will go to the top of the list!
