Well, guys i am here to share experiences and to learn a little of how to hunt in fl.
I am new to hunting south florida grounds, so hope you guys can guide me a little and make my hunting days memorable.
is been long time since the last time that i shot an animal, and my dogs really miss it. they are almost retired and all they do now is hunt for what ever on my back yard.
finally i took the decision that is time to star hunting again. i am basically and upland hunter but found out that here in florida i may have better chances with deer, hogs and turkey.
some introductory pics for you guys to enjoy.
i miss hunting and sure my dogs too....
here in sotuh fl, i used to quail hunt until i got hooked by cupid...
sad to say it but my wife is against hunting and well you know the rest....
all they can do not is hunt on my back yard
and this is what they do all day

Welcome

Yes they are great and they miss hunting a lot. Now that i am back on the fields they should really get happy. They are a little overweight but sure after few hunting days they will lose few pounds
The short haired pointer is a great pointer and tracker as well, he is my thicket for tacking wounded game, the weimaraner is an excellent hunter just that has a very strong personality, is hard to keep him still pointing, and once his nose is on there is no way to stop him. I usually keep him on a 30' leash wile hunting for hogs, he has a great nose for big game
