Key Colony Beach Fishing

Post by Kortsman » Tue Jul 29, 2014 9:14 pm

I'm heading down to the Keys next week and staying right on the beach in Key Colony Beach. I've never been down there and wondering how the fishing is? Is it like the west coast beaches? Can I catch snook on the beach in the mornings? Any areas that I should check out? I feel like a greenhorn, but hopefully I can get some pointers.

Can't really offer any advice....but you're one brave camper!

That's the first weekend of full lobster season.

Now it's time to go get some scallops :)

Oh, we're going to do some lobster diving. That's the main reason for the trip. I expect it to be a zoo. But hopefully not as bad as mini season. I can tell you I'm not looking forward to the drive once I get down to the keys.
