I cut my teeth on a T/c Hawken, and patched round balls. I will admit I am an inline guy now, but would LOVE to see Fla go to some select traditional m/l quota hunts. I would drag them back out of retirement

I think FL should have a muzzleloader just like they do now AND THEN have a primitive along the lines of what Idaho and other states have....but Florida should simply add more days to the hunting season. So there would be no loss for anyone and a net gain in the number of days during the season.

aren't you allowed to use a flintlock if you wish during a reg ml season where in lines are allowed? so use whatever you want. no need to deny one or the other. or have 2 seasons, better yet.

Seems like both of them look down on crossbow users.....never understood the non-sense....we all need to support each other in whatever legal method we use

This is disappointing.
I'm with BPS on adding a few more days for a traditional, therefore its a win, win.
Makes you wonder what the true thinking of the individuals at FWC to want to curtail or limit use of certain items. I would bet its personal preference.

What gets me is why you can't bow hunt during a m/l hunt on a WMA. When I was a kid they were primitive weapons hunts

you could hunt with flintlocks or bows also during general gun, not just inlines, I believe. they should be increasing diff opportunities and extending seasons, if they want to increase revenue. (another license/quota fee)

It doesn't appear FWC is interested in increased revenues or opportunities for citizens, look at the crazy WMA so called management restrictions, you've got to be kidding me.... It seems like someone's AGENDA again.... Just like the STUPID WMA restrictions....
