Heading to the 500

Got a free ticket, going to head out to the race early tomorrow morning w/ a couple of buddies. Looks like the weather will be great. We will be over in Lot 10, we will be in a crew cab black chevy with a sun tent set up. If you are out there and smell a smoker going at 6:30 am, stop on by and grab a cold brew. Ribs, chicken and poppers on the menu, should be some good eating.

Nascar is by far my favorite sport. I used to go to the 500 every year. Saw sr win and die there. Just got too expensive to go. Be sure to cheer when over88ted crashes out

Yeah, what a downer. We set up about 6:00 am in the parking lot and never left. We tailgated until 4, still had a good time by staying dry under our tent, had the smoker going. Met a lot of nice people from all over. Ate too much...drank too much. We watched everybody load up on the tram and head to the raceway, then watched as they all came back dejected and wetter than drowned rats. Everybody that came back by us would ask us the same thing..."You guys never even left did ya?....Shoulda of stayed out here with you guys"
